The Town Hall (Council Chambers)
The town hall is actually owned by the town council and was purchased on behalf of the local community in the relatively recent past. The building now plays a central role in providing a base from which numerous local groups and organisations currently operate as well as providing office space and a suitable location for town council meetings. Notably, half of the building currently houses the local police station, whilst the current council chamber previously served as the local magistrates’ court.

The town cemetery is located on the B5111 along Ffordd Burwen on the western outskirts of the town and is managed by the town council. The site has been in use since 1867 and burial records are maintained and held at the town hall. For further information relating to this amenity please contact the town clerk.
Parks and Open Spaces
The Town Council is responsible for maintaining and developing most of the open spaces within the town and port, including Parc Lon Goch, Maes Llwyn Playing Fields, Maes Mona, Lon Wen, Craig y Don and Trehinion Nature Park.
